For this episode of The Filmcraziest Show I was joined by some of the team behind the new horror/comedy Paintball Massacre, including producer/actor Joe Hallett (who plays Aiden Jones in the film), actress Natasha Killip (who plays Lauren Bryce in the film), writer Chris Regan, and actor Nicholas Vince (who plays Somerset the Barman in the film).
Paintball Massacre is about a group of old school friends who hold a reunion and decide to go paintballing, miles away from civilization. Things go horribly wrong when they discover a cold-blooded masked killer is among them which sends them into a fight for survival. It’s directed by Darren Berry and written by Chris Regan. It stars Katy Brand, Lee Latchford-Evans, Nicholas Vince, Ian Virgo, Cheryl Burniston, Natasha Killip and Joe Hallett. The film is available on demand in the United States and Canada (check here for places to watch).

During the podcast, we talk about the Fast and Furious references made in the script; the film being inspired by a terrible paintball experience and how everyone can relate to paintball in some way; some bartender tips and inspiration behind Nicholas Vince’s character; their favourite death scenes; fat turtles; and of course, since Nicholas Vince is best known for his role of Chattering Cenobite in the Hellraiser films, I snuck in some questions about the make-up, his experiences at Comic Cons and if he can still chatter.
As well, just a spoiler warning: There’s mild spoilers from 26:30-33:35 where we talk about the cast’s favourite death scenes (I say mild spoiler because you know people are bound to die). And there’s a major spoiler warning for the ending around 52:20-58:05 where we talk about the ambiguous ending, so be warned for that one.
As always, you can listen to the episode below or download it here.
