For this episode of The Filmcraziest Show, I am joined by another guest for my coverage of the new drama thriller The Sinners, this time Brenna Coates (pictured on the left in the featured image), who plays Tori Davidson in the film (who represents the sin of Wrath). The film is about a group of seven A-List Girls who form a cult at their high school where each girl embodies one of the seven deadly sins. Soon, after a disagreement within the group, they begin to go missing one by one.
The film is written by Courtney Paige, Erin Hazlehurst and Madison Smith, and is directed by Courtney Paige. It stars Kaitlyn Bernard, Brenna Llewellyn, Brenna Coates, Keilani Elizabeth Rose, Jasmine Randhawa, Carly Fawcett, Natalie Malaika, Lochlyn Munro, Michael Eklund and Dylan Playfair. The film released yesterday On Demand wherever you get your films.
During our conversation, we discuss the sins within the film; getting back into her character’s mindset; the experience of being on The Sinners with another actress named Brenna (this being co-star Brenna Llewellyn); building chemistry within the group, especially with Kaitlyn Bernard as Grace; as well as growing up within the film industry and how she’s grown as an actress. As well, we chat about her work on-stage in the theatre world, notably in a play called The Wolves and how that helped her prepare for her role in The Sinners. There’s more in between, too.
