For this episode of The Filmcraziest Show, I was joined by Jordan Graham, the director, writer, producer, cinematographer, editor and composer of his new film Sator. In the film, a demon called Sator observes a broken family living in isolation in the woods and attempts to claim them. It stars Gabriel Nicholson, Michael Daniel, Rachel Johnson, Aurora Lowe, Wendy Taylor and June Peterson (Jordan Graham’s own grandmother playing herself in the film, who has since passed away). The film was released on VOD on February 9, 2021. My review of the film can be found here.
On the episode we talk about the haunting death whistle in the film and a funny story about that, what made him want to tell this story about his family, about the history of Sator within his family, and what’s it like releasing the film after seven years of working on it. There’s more in between, too, and you can listen to the episode below or go here to download it.
