The title says it all, really. What do you all want to see from Daniel’s Film Reviews this year? I’m open to any suggestions on how to make it better… I’m going to look to see if there are any themes I like better than the one I’m using. I’d like a new font, too.
I’ve also been working on a sort of movie game that I hope to post this month or next. I think it’s intriguing, but that’s just me. I hope you all like it once I post it. I just want to do a few more things with it, to make it better. I’ve also been getting some help from the generous Tyson Carter over at Head in a Vice (thanks buddy!! And you all should check out his blog here).
Regarding my box office predictions, my goal is to stay under $1 billion for my first complete year…
Anyway, I’m open to whatever suggestions you all may have! 🙂 And Happy New Year!!
I would add some visual elements: trailer, poster, or movie still.
I agree but only because it is used so often in my own haha 😀
The illusion distracts from my terrible reviews xD
Hahah oh your reviews aren’t terrible at all Tim 😀
Ah so the illusion works 😀
I take my comment back. You do that already. My “Reader” list of blogs had your review of “Chronicle” and it had no visuals.
I published that because I wrote the review on my phone and didn”t feel like rewriting it on the computer… That’ll be up tomorrow 🙂 I have movie posters, but I could add movie stills and a trailer 🙂
Thanks for the mention dude, looking forward to the game going live 🙂
I like the look on here, and I believe twenty ten theme is gone, so if you change you cant get it back! I have tried so many themes recently on a test blog, driving me crazy!! Think Ill be paying the upgrade for new fonts, colours etc too 🙂
That’s a great idea for trying out themes on the test blog… Thanks for letting me know mine isn’t available any more hahah!
Anytime!!
It’s all about the content. No matter how pretty you make it, people will return because of the quality of what you write. I would say to write about the things and movies which interest you the most. It depends what you are trying to achieve as well.
Okay, thanks for the comment, Steve 🙂 !
